This year for the annual Dia De Los Muertos festival at Grand Arts, our team set up a large altar to display images of the dead and give offerings to them. Our theme this year was to display photos of people and pets in our lives who have passed and also women in history who have inspired and influenced us. The team displayed the photos and placed vases of flowers on the tiered altar. We also served homemade sweet arroz con leche, a warm milk and rice pudding, to passing students. We also used this opportunity to talk to people who came to our altar about our team and our projects for the year.
